Who We Are
The Waterloo Paramedics Charity Golf Tournament is a collaborative effort between the Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services and CUPE Local 5191, the union representing front-line paramedics and logistics support staff. Together with their sponsors, this initiative reflects the shared commitment to supporting local causes and strengthening community ties. Our team of dedicated professionals proudly serve the residents of Waterloo Region, delivering 24/7 pre-hospital emergency care with the support of advanced medical resources and seamless integration in the local healthcare network. Beyond emergency response, we offer a community paramedicine program and engage in public health initiatives, all aimed at fostering safety and enhancing the overall well-being of the region.

OUR VISION
Our charity golf tournament aims to raise funds and awareness for a local charity in the Waterloo Region, enabling them to continue their invaluable work. Through this event, we hope to unite the community in a fun and meaningful way, enjoying a day of golf while contributing to a noble cause.
In 2024, our tournament was hosted at Conestoga Golf Club and brought our community together in support of the Region of Waterloo Food Bank. With over $2,600 donated and 63 pounds of food collected, we made a meaningful impact in the fight against hunger. Participants enjoyed an incredible day filled with exciting prizes, including diamond earrings, Blue Jays tickets, electronics, and more. It was a day to remember, filled with camaraderie, generosity, and unforgettable moments—all for a great cause. Thank you to everyone who joined us to make a difference!
